Robert Dillman founded NEVO Driving Academy in 2012. NEVO operated as an award-winning, behind-the-wheel-focused driver training academy, training teens, stunt drivers for film, professional athletes, racers, and high-net-worth individuals. In 2017, Robert began working for Porsche at their Atlanta Experience Center and as a Security Driver Training Instructor for the U.S. Department of State. Operating out of the Interim Training Facility and then the Foreign Affairs Security Training Center, Robert quickly established himself as a subject matter expert for the Driver Training Unit. In the DTU, Robert wrote the continuum for new instructor training and redesigned the curriculum for special agents and the foreign affairs community. After several years, Robert transitioned out of the Driver Training Unit to manage the Professional Development Program for FASTC, where he oversaw a cadre of over 250 instructors for annual compliance, training, and instructor development. In this new role, Robert and a team of instructional systems designers developed a program offering that achieved Federal Law Enforcement Training and Accreditation (FLETA Accreditation) for FASTC. 

In 2024, Robert relaunched NEVO Driving Academy with a new mission and a new team of experts.
