Graphic Designer (Project Based)
Description
NEVO Driving Academy seeks a project-based graphic designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will design assets that enhance brand identity and audience engagement across various NEVO projects, ensuring the NEVO image is upheld. Working and communicating effectively in a remote environment is a must. Candidates may be asked to attend meetings in the Richmond office, so Virginia-based designers are strongly preferred.
Duties
Develop innovative, high-quality designs and assets.
Create original art, marketing materials, deck designs, and more.
Generate motion graphics, title design elements, and assets with graphics-heavy video projects.
Maintain project organization
Participate in pre-production meetings.
Identify problems and pose creative solutions quickly.
Effectively handle feedback and graphic changes, ensuring all designs meet high-quality standards and deadlines.
Must be resourceful, self-motivated, and professional with attention to detail and a focus on exceeding expectations.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines as required.
Strong interpersonal skills are required.
Collaborates effectively across multiple departments to maintain alignment and drive success.
Physical Demands
The employee must frequently stand or sit for extended periods while working with a computer, phone, and written tools. The employee must occasionally lift and carry 25+ pounds. Other duties as assigned
Serves as a liaison and representative for NEVO Driving Academy.
Assist the videographer during larger productions.

Experience
2+ years of design experience delivering high-quality assets in a professional environment.
Versed in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, Illustrator, Premier Pro, After Effects, etc.)
Advanced knowledge of post-production workflows, image types, resolutions, frame rates, etc.
Knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects.
Compensation
Wage is dependent on your current skill level and qualifications.
Job Type
Part-time with an opportunity to transition to full-time.
Work Location
Remote hybrid headquartered in Richmond, Virginia.
